If you know anything about us, you know that the quality of our product is super important to us, so it's kind of hard for me to write about this. But, it's also important to us as a business to be transparent and honest with our customers and supporters. Remember a few weeks ago when we released these beautiful heart shaped sunglasses? The response was incredible. People loved them. We loved them. And we made a handful, shipped them out promptly and couldn't have been happier.
We even had the incredible support of our blogger friend Amy, who styled them beautifully on her blog. Amy says she hasn't had any problems with her sunglasses, but she is one of the lucky few, because a few days after our customers receiving their sunglasses...I started getting photos in my email of very sad, very broken sunglasses.
Devastated, I took a pair on our Easter weekend trip to Florida to give them a tester and be really rough on them, as I am with all our sunglasses to test them. I had worn a pair for a week before we started selling them, and they held up just fine, but as a good business owners, we thought another go around was necessary. After two days of tossing them around, throwing them in my purse, wearing them on my head and tucked in my back pocket, they broke. Two days of pretty normal wear. Well, we knew that was unacceptable. We immediately started sending out emails to our customers and working towards a solution. Thankfully, we found a solution, and just in time because our patchwork sunglasses were featured yesterday on the Etsy Blog.
So here they are! New and improved! And just as beautiful! These sunglasses have been stress tested and come out winning. They are durable and still so much fun to wear! They are of the same quality of our standard frames, but of course, so much easier to fall in love with.
