I may be even more absent for the next few weeks than I have been recently. We are in dire need of getting organized since we just got a pretty amazing order that needs to be filled asap. It's hard, being self employed, getting motivated and deterring our friends from coming over for long periods of time and trying oh-so hard to distract us with you tube videos and fast food.
Also, I need to take a break from blogging because I need to take some time to figure out how to be myself in the blogging world again. I feel like sometimes I try really really hard to "fit in" to a certain mold. I love all kinds of bloggers, just like I love all kinds of people, but I tend to shift my style, personality, etc, to fit in. It's stupid. I don't know. I'm just tired and sensitive.

I do it too! I'm trying to stick to only portraying my voice, my style, and myself. Sometimes it's hard when I see other successful bloggers/ artists and they have a different style from me. I tend to shift in that direction..oh, latenight ramblings. Did anything I said make sense? Basically: YOU ARE AMAZING! Don't you forget it ;)

I just read this and I totally feel your pain.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to take a step back every now and then to regroup.
I did that for a while...and I still don't know what I'm doing in the blog world.
But, as long as you write about what makes you happy and the things that truly inspire you, I will keep reading:)
