Today has been another busy day. But rainy and pretty in the morning at least. It's kind of like a rain forest out side now and we're melting. We finished about 15 pairs of sunglasses today but didn't quite make it to the post office before they closed. I hate being behind schedule, but one thing that I have learned in this whole process of owning your own business, is that goodness cant be rushed. When you rush, things don't come out good. That's a fact. It's a hard fact, but it's fact. I just hope everyone else is as understanding! :)
We are finishing up the bunch of sunglasses for Fashion Week tonight (hopefully) and we can't wait until the 12th! I wish we were closer, but alas, we have a store front to open and operate! Speaking of, have you rsvp'd to the opening reception yet? We open our doors in 5 days. FIVE DAYS!!! I hope it all comes together!

ReplyDeletei understand the being behind schedule thing, too. people who don't run their own business have no idea just how much work goes into it, how much time you spend on it, and just how easy it is to get behind. but you still amaze me with how much work you're able to get done every day; now that's will power!
