Lazy Day

So, I had lots of plans today. I woke up early with Doug, made him a smoothie and packed his lunch. My favorite thing to do, ever. We drank coffee and watched the news. He left for work and I had every intention to get started with my day. Pack up some items that needed to be shipped, do pilates, clean up the living room, bake some bread and apple cookies and walk the dogs. Well. That didn't really happen. I mostly laid around with my babies and read books and watched movies and baked bread and made cookies for my love.

And got to look at this sweet face all day.

When I should have been camped out at my work table.

I have a lot to do, but I am really nervous about tomorrow. I just got off the phone with my boss. he called to tell me that everything was a go for me to start tomorrow and I felt better about that. I've been getting all of my recipes and my kit together. I have worked really hard for this and I am excited to see my hard work come to fruition. I mean come on, I QUIT MY NIGHT JOB TO GET A FULL TIME DAY JOB! I think this is the opposite of what I thought was going to happen, but I am really excited. Don't worry world, I will still be running our little shop and making treasures in my free time. No worries.

Well, I have about 10 minutes to pretend like I was busy all day before Doug gets home from work. Ha! Just kidding, he knows what I do on my days off!! It's the same things he does on his days off, minus the skateboarding.
