Video Blog Tutorial

I've been challenged by Danielle to create a video blog tutorial for our Spring into Summer Blog Feature. easy enough, right! Wrong. I really wants to challenge myself to go above and beyond to create the ultimate blog tutorial. I spent a lot of time working on this little doozy today and I hope you love it!I hope, most of all, that it inspires you to to make more video blogs! (I may decorate cake for a living, but a piece of my heart will always still be in film school.)
And just because I have been asked, I use a Sony Handycam HD with a Opteka .45x HD 52mm Wide Angle Lens. I edit using Windows Movie Maker right now, but in the near future, I am going to be getting a mac book pro. Eventually. With Final Cut Pro. I have been asked to do some freelance editing recently and had to turn the job down because I don't have FCP anymore. (Due to some unfortunate events during and after film school, my computer, flat screen monitor and HD camera no longer belong to me.) I am really excited to start building that collection back up. ANYWAYS! Here is my video blog tutorial. I'll tell you right now, there are some awesome awkward pauses which I am known for, and my weird accent, in full force.

  4. i posted another video today, and i have to say, i'm not as comfortable as you! oh, and it was so long. i promise i tried to edit it and make it shorter, but i think i talk a lot. oops!

  5. Wow, I'm really impressed. Weird accent? Really... I was actually thinking while watching, I wish I'd sound like her when I speak, so natural. And after that I read what you said about your accent, which I don't hear :). Your voice is cute!
