Doug and I had some errands to run this morning, hardware store and grocery (we have been eating nothing but things that come in a can or can be microwaved or bought at a drive through for the last few weeks...its disgusting...) Since we live on one side of Lookout Mountain and the stores are on the other, we decided to take a little extra time and drive up the Mountain while we were out. It's doesn't take a lot of time to get to the top of the mountain, seriously, we drive up to Starbucks at Rock City at least twice a week...five minute drive, tops. It was so foggy and had been pouring rain all morning, so it looked so eerie.
I found these awesome lavender jeans when we went up to Nashville last week. I never in my whole life thought I would buy a pair of colored pants, but I found these, loved the way they fit, and figured I would just dye them darker. But then I wore them one day and fell in love. Seriously, if you ever want to feel fancy, but don't want to wear a dress, or tights or leggings, colored jeans are the way to go. I'm on a mission to find a pair of colored jeans for Danielle, too! It will happen.
Also, can you tell how exhausted I am. I haven't dyed my hair in a million years, I forgot how to wear make-up and I may or may not be breaking out like a teenage due to the incredible amount of wood dust plastered to my face...but whatever.
And I couldn't help but snap a few photos of my dude. I like him, a lot. You never really know how much your relationship can withstand until you have to work for 18 hours a day next to someone and not want to kill them. I love him more and more every single day.
Well, I have so much work still left to do. This week has been scheduled down to the minute. And, my blogging time is just about up. Love yall lots!
xoxo,
Beca

ReplyDeleteThat's so funny. I was just saying today that I need some purple jeans! Lookout Mountain is so incredible. Every time that we go, the Mister and I say that one day when we win the lottery, we're going to get one of those big houses right next to Rock City.
