Oy Vey

It's Hanukkah. All that means to me is that I am working a lot and we are really busy, so I come home exhausted and hungry. But, I love Latkes, I love Hammentashen, and I love love love Matzah Ball soup. I especially love that all of these are available to me anytime I desire them. I love my job and I am so thankful to have it. I worked an extra shift this week so it feels like Saturday, but it's only Friday. Rent is paid. It gives me the slightest panic attack when I talk to the landlord, but everything is taken care of and we're good for another month. I hope the deli is really busy the next few weeks.

I'm still sick. Oh, I didn't mention that I have been sick the past few days and it is lingering on.
Oh, I also didn't mention that I am a blonde now. I'm still getting used to it. We haven't taken any photos. Like I said, I've been sick and working a lot, so we haven't been doing much of anything. I'm going to try to get Doug to have breakfast with me, but he went back to sleep and I feel bad for waking him. Maybe a trip to the skatepark will revive him.

The house is a mess, but I am really, really dedicating my day to cleaning up and organizing. Honestly, it's a total nightmare. I don't even know where to begin. It's frustrating. I wish we had furniture, that would help, but it's low on the priority list.

Sorry, not photos or anything that interesting. Life goes on. I'll be back to blogging about lovely things soon, I hope.

  1. andrew & i's first apartment was so expensive we lived there for a year and a half with no furniture. it was kind of nice but hard when people came over, we all had to sit on the floor. you'll find things sooner or later for cheap or free! and if it's any consolation we have a pile of boxes in the middle of our living room and haven't even moved. andrew is just ordering tons of vw parts for his motor...

    i took a picture for you! :)

  2. That picture makes me feel better. xox.
