We've had this chair on our porch since we moved here (we found it at a church sale for free) but the seat was broken and the cushions were disgusting. So it just sat on the porch, lonely and sad. Often times with a box or a parcel sitting on it.
Today, while frames were drying, I started cleaning our porch and dragged this poor chair out to the yard. Doug grabbed some salvaged wood from the back of the house and turned this sad chair into a chair that we can use and love. Sure is nice having this dude around!
(do you see our target practice?)
It's not much, just a little something to make our house a home. What kind of home projects are you working on?

A tiny desk to fit in my crammed office and a bench to hide some litter boxes but not be too cramped for the cats.
ReplyDeleteI might resort to a local carpenter unless I can find easy ways to pull this off.
wish we could help!
DeleteThat chair is looking good. I just love the underside of the arm and sides of the chair. It reminds me of desks that you have in elementary school and middle school.
ReplyDeletePs: I love love love that mug. Where did you find that?
kinship press out of louisville.

This looks so great! I love how industrial this looks now. I'm just working on a little project, giving a jewelry box a makeover :)
