There is something about being in love that really gets you through a bad day. Doug and I woke up in such a crappy mood today. Stayed in bed until noon, in and out of nightmarish sleep (and still only managed about 5 hours of it after a late night...) but regardless of a bad mood, we still ventured out into the world. Headed down to an estate sale in North Georgia, but it was a bust, got lost in Chickamauga and found this little civil war park. Still in sour moods, we walked around, talked about the coming rest of the year, cheered up a bit.
We found an antique store on the way out of town, I got some apple baskets, and Doug found some cool stuff too. We ate fried pickles and now we're home again, getting ready to work in the shop for a few hours before we're off to photograph an event downtown. Here's a few photos from our day. I'm thankful to have someone that even when I'm grumpy and he's grumpy, we can still spend time together and make a day of it.

Hope you're having a good day.

DeleteI think there must have been something in the air today, because this is how mine and my husband's day started out as well. Being in love truly is a wonderful thing though because you can get over the tough moments.
ReplyDeleteI love how to take your pictures. They tell us such a story in them. I hope the rest of your day is a little better. ♥

Thank you Katlyn! That means a lot!
DeleteUgh, it happens. And being in love is great and all I'm sure the fried pickles helped just a little.
ReplyDeletethe fried pickles helped most of all! ;)
DeleteI agree with you oh-so-much! This is how I feel and sadly, often (sadly because of the grumpy part.) But Jen's my biggest supporter and vice versa. It's truly lovely. ♥ I hope your day turned around - if not, there is always tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteLove is a burning flame!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so much like Ryan and I this weekend. Worst moods ever. I'm so glad love gives us the super human ability to look past trivial things like grumpiness and remember the good in people. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteahh, what good truth. Remember the good in people even though you want to put them in a headlock for being such a grump (myself included!)
DeleteThis makes me smile. Aint it the truth!
