Playing Catchup

Taking a break from making what seems like a million pairs of turquoise glasses to eat a little snack and check back in with this little blog of mine. We have been busy as usual, and of course, I wouldn't want it any differently. I wanted to share some neat stuff I have been lurking on the interwebz. Just because I'm quiet doesn't mean I'm not watching. ;)

{I am thinking about getting this dress from Fleet Collection for my birthday. I think I LOVE it!}
{I love this video from one of my favorite shoe companies, Minnetonka Moccasin. I have been living in my ankle boots this summer.}

{Itching to do this in our bedroom when I have some spare time, which will probably be never. Ugh.}

Joy wrote a really incredible blog post about the growth of her small business and her break-up with etsy. I can totally relate and she said a lot of things I am so afraid to say about our business. I keep trying to sell full time elsewhere, but it's really hard. It just may be even harder to stay...

My friend Sarah's lighting course is getting lots of media press right now, and I am super excited for her. Here is a little write-up from Anthology magazine. Did you also know you can get a 10% discount on the e-course by using the code friend10. I'm loving the course, so far, and I just started it!

Oh, before I forget...the winner of the Shabby Apple $75 gift card is Aileen! Congratulations, pal!

{I am still loving this bracelet from Dinosaur Toes, I think it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.}
{The styling of this product photo for Quill and Fox is so dreamy.}
{SERIOUSLY dying over the newest work from Alexz over at Bird Trouble}

Did you read this article about being addicted to being too busy? I wonder sometimes if I have a case of the busy-flu, and if it really wont kill me to just take some time to do me-stuff. Are you addicted to being busy?

Chelsea's new puppy is giving me crazy puppy fever. Then I remember I have a kitten right now and he is a handful enough! Speaking of the little terror, I picked him up from his overnight vet stay (ie castration) and he is sweet as can be. Happy to be home, I think. I missed him like crazy last night.

And, that's a wrap. I am going to attempt to sleep, or maybe just get back to work. You know, because I'm addicted. What's happening in your life? Any rad links to share. Hope you have an awesome Wednesday!

xo,
Beca

  1. First, love those bee bobby pins!

    Second, I feel like I am also addicted to being busy. I always have to be doing 1,000 things.. otherwise, I just find something else to do! Sigh... Guess I'll always love being a busy bee (maybe I need some of those bobby pins, too!)
