My Adventures in Portrait Painting

I am no pro at portrait painting. I love to paint and draw and do little pieces, but I leave the real professional work to my friend Danielle (who by the way, if you haven't visited her her new painting shop, you need to do so now! It's incredible.) However, since Katie debuted her new blog deisgn, I have gotten several requests from bloggers to paint little portraits for them. I am so very excited, firstly, about Amy's new blog design that she debuted today! It's gorgeous and I am so thankful that she incorporated a painting a did for her into the new design.
Amy's portrait is a bit different than Katie's, which I love because they are both such different, but equally awesome friends of mine.
And recently, in my few and far between free hours, I have been working on a couple more blogger portraits. I have been loving this opportunity and I know that I won't have much time to paint in the coming months, so it's good to take the time now. I haven't sent these out to the owners yet, but see if you can guess who they are!

I love both of these, and thankfully, the awesome people who are receiving them (clients? customers? people of the painting? I don't know how to refer to them...) love them too. At least, love them through cell phone photos. ;)

Again, I do only take trades for portraits, but I am kind of booked up for the next month or so. If you want to get on the list, email me. I hope y'all loved loving at these as much as I loved painting them.

xo,
Beca
