My Sunshine Room

I meant to post this a few days ago, but like I said, busy busy busy. But finally, I get to share with you a few little snippets of my favorite place in the world to spend time, to work, to eat breakfast and to work on projects. Our sunshine Florida room, AKA the front porch. It's not quite the wrap-around like the Georgia house I grew up in, but it's pretty wonderful coming from a house with barely a front stoop to a house-length long screened in porch.

It's nothing really special, and it certainly isn't fancy. There are a lot of skulls and horns we have found in the woods, our bikes, rain boots, and tools. It's an all-purpose room of sorts and I love it. You really can tell a whole lot about people by their home and I hope I get a chance to share more of our little house here in the swamp while we're here. I'm not cutesy when it comes to home decorating. I like rustic nature and strange. I like skulls and teeth and wooden plaques and religious iconography. You'll see more of that later.

ALSO, Doug agreed to make a video with me for the blog next week, SO, we wanted to know what ya'll want to know about our business, sunglasses, and about us. We would love to hear your questions and be able to answer them here!! So, ask away!!

xo,
Beca

  4. This space looks so nice. I'd love a porch to work in (& some warm weather... it's cold up here). It'd be awesome to see a video of some behind the scenes/making of the glasses!

  5. first, i love this! i wish i had a big front porch, and one with a screen would be even better for when the bugs get bad.

second, i want to bear hug ollie. he's such a pretty boy :)

third, what i want to know from you and doug is: if you could dropkick anyone, who would it be (and i want answers from both of you)! and last, if you could make up a type of dessert concoction, what would it be and what would it have in it? again, i want answers from both of you!
