Recent Junk Store Finds

I've been infected with some awful stomach flu for the past 2 days, and today I was able to drink a coffee without puking, although lunch was another story. I'm pretty drained, but I did muster up the energy to edit some photos from the other day.

Paint by Numbers Impalas $4 // Paint by Numbers Deer $1 // Vintage Hat Collection $6 // Moving Cards $.10 for 10 // Stamp Kit $.50 // Vintage Ray-Ban Sunglasses $1

We have been doing a lot of junking lately. Nobody seems to know what they have out here, or at least don't care much for what we think is special. We got a pretty 1940s pharmacy bureau today that will be my next project. Well, I'm back to bed. I keep trying to work and keep messing things up, so I am giving in to the sickness and just going to sleep.

What have you found lately?

Beca

  6. wow people sure don't realize how valuable their stuff is- vintage ray bands for a buck? sweet find! those paintings are so pretty & the cards are so darling I thought you made them. Is a junk sale like a yard sale? I've keep saying I'll start going to yard sales but always just hit up the nearest thrift stores for ease-sake. Hope the extra rest does the trick!
Also, I adore the sunglasses you & your man make, so pretty! Glad I found you from Rebecca.

    1. A junk shop is like a thrift store, but you have to dig through lots of dirty stuff to get the treasures. Its usually a hole in the wall, boxes stacked high kind of place!!

  7. i would kill for that deer paint by numbers...i love when people don't realize the amazingness they have a sell it for dirt cheap...i guess that sounds a little screwed up...but at least their vintage "junk" is going to my loving home. :)

    1. I feel bad sometimes, especially this time, because we got a pharmacist label bureau for $5 from 1901 and I was expecting to pay $40 or $50, and i did a double take when the guy said $5. I'll post about it when we fix it up!

  12. I love paint by numbers and want a mountain/lake theme one so bad but can't find one. It's funny because I remember seeing them all the time as a teen when I'd go to the thrift store. Anyways those paintings look awesome!
