Curiosities Closet Vol 12

I haven't done one of these in a while, but again, I'm too tired to actually write anything of substance, so here are some things I'm loving. (ps, tomorrow we are going raw, and I'll update you on that after I get off work!)

Tomorrow Doug and I are going raw and this is what I will be spending a lot of time eating/drinking. Look how cute this stupid glass is.

I'm in love with this ring, but I don't remember where I found this photo. Isn't it incredible? I just gave Doug the old hinty hinty that I need this ring.

Curiosities Closet Vol 11

Lots of cutes! Lots of stuff for you to swoon over!

This pretty deer cupcake. I kind of want to make these.

I wish I knew how to quilt, but since I don't and other people do, and do it well, I'll happy with that. This quilt from CarsonToo is so pretty and simple.

This dress that my buddy Sandra designed for her last fashion show. Little, secret, Sandra got that fabric from me right before I moved, and I picked it out with the intentions to make a maxi dress. That obviously never happened, so sandra snagged it up and made three beautiful dresses with it!!

Curiosities Closet Vol 10

I am dying over this incredible diamond ring made by Andrea Simic.

I used to collect old photos of other people's pets. I don't know why I stopped, and I don't know where they all are, but this one is pretty spectacular.

Curiosities Closet Vol 9 - Our Wishlist

This is kind of an unusual curiosities closet, because it isn't stuff I like, it's stuff we, as a family, want/need. Since I am working on budgeting better, I want to factor in our wants and needs and save for them. This is my visual wish list.

Firstly, the Olympus E-620. This camera is incredible. I am really happy with the 410 that I got for Doug last year on his birthday, so I will probably just hold on to that, but I really want to get him a new one. This one is perfect.

A MUCH needed trip to Florida to see our family.

And a weekend getaway to the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obisbo.

I really really want a new mixer because I had to leave my old mixer in Tucson. There just wasn't room in the van when we moved. I miss having one. This green one is very pretty.

If you know me at all, you know I love TV. My big TV that I got as a gift from my Mom for my college graduation, was too big to bring to California so it got left behind too. We are currently borrowing a TV from our friends, but would like to get our own soon.

Everything is perfect with the beast, except the paint. Although I don't think we're going to go crazy like the one below (which is the exact same van, minus the orange detailing) it definitely does need a new paint job soon.

Annnnnnd of course, we're planning on getting iphones...I know...finally.

Curiosities Closet Vol 7

Spring and kids toys. Strange match, I know, but that is what is on my mind and in my curiosities closet this week. Enjoy!!

I'm pretty over spring showers, but this is pretty freaking cute.

Totally obsessed with "Liddle Kiddles" since we acquired a portable "Liddle Kiddles Klub" doll house today that looks just like this. Isn't the lucky lion cute?

Mustard and Royal Purple. Two colors that I have a love/hate relationship with.

This little guy and many more like it are available in our shop.

It is time for fresh cut flowers. I went straight to the market and got some flowers after seeing these pretty arrangements by Erin at Sunshine and Carousels. I also hope my roses start blooming again soon!

I am so jealous of Shauna and Stephen's doll house collection. I only have one of these sweet old giant tin doll houses. It will soon become something of a miniature photo studio for our shop though.

We have big plans for the zoo with our friends from out of state tomorrow. I am excited. We haven't been to the zoo in a few weeks. It really is one of my favorite places on earth. We have a handful of new treasures to add to the shop, but probably not until Monday morning. Also, be on the lookout for a great giveaway this week. More information on that later.
